He is an ISA certified coach and having won three national championships, he has proven his skills both in competition and coaching. Coming from the historic town of Mahabalipuram, Santhosh holds a special place in Indian surfing history as the country's first surfboard shaper. His craftsmanship is unparalleled, as he meticulously handcrafts stunning boards under his brand name, Alai. Currently, Santhosh is focused on nurturing young talents from Kovalam and Mahabalipuram, striving to bring up future champions from India. His passion and commitment to the sport serve as an inspiration to aspiring surfers, and his dedication to developing surfing in India is commendable.

Mathesh, a hyperactive instructor at Surfturf. With a passion for surfing that runs deep in his veins, he approaches every session with boundless energy and a contagious smile. He wholeheartedly loves what he does and finds immense joy in sharing his expertise with his students. Mathesh's vibrant personality and witty sense of humour  create an atmosphere filled with laughter and positivity. Sanjay Selvamani is a 22 year old professional surfer from Kovalam, Tamil Nadu, India. He was born in Chennai, but now calls Kovalam home. His favorite surf break is Covelong Point, which is also his home break. he has achieved great success in the sport, including 5 times runner-up in the National Surfing Championship. He is currently part of the Indian National Surfing Team and is looking forward to representing India in world surfing competitions.Sanjay is passionate about surfing and loves to surf-skate, do yoga, SUP, stay fit, and play volleyball in his free time. He also enjoys listening to music. With his dedication and passion, Sanjay is sure to make a mark in the world of surfing.
